Hi, I’m Saugat Singh Bhandari a Nepal-based travel writer and researcher with a strong interest in trekking, tourism, Nepal’s mountains, culture, and the stories that shape the country. Born and brought up in Kathmandu, my family roots trace back to the remote hills of Gorkha District, giving me a personal connection to both urban Nepal and the rural communities that make up much of the country’s mountainous landscape. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management (BIM) from Tribhuvan University, where I have developed an interest in research, information, technology, and communication.
Through my early experience in Nepal’s tourism industry, I have had the opportunity to learn about tourism, trekking, trekking destinations, travel planning, local communities, and the experiences of travelers visiting Nepal. I am still learning, exploring, and growing through this journey and constantly working to deepen my understanding of both tourism and travel contents.
My goal is to create useful and trustworthy travel content that goes beyond simply describing destinations. I want to help travelers understand Nepal better, make informed decisions, and experience my beautiful country with greater confidence and appreciation.
