    Best time for Nepal Panorama Tour and Trekking

    However, the best seasons are spring, autumn/fall from March to May, September to November, as well in the wintertime of December to February months.

      On first day landing at Kathmandu and Nepal international airport, our guide and staff receives for short transfer to hotel. Located in the heart of Kathmandu around interesting area at Thamel, after checking into your rooms our guide will brief with full information of your holiday in Nepal with do’s and don’ts.

      Evening welcome group dinner in a typical Nepalese restaurants, an introduction to local meals with Folk cultural programs as entertainment.

        Following second and third day programs depart from Kathmandu, having hearty breakfast guide will pick you. Where drive of less than two hours reaches at Panauti farm town. As drive leads towards eastern rim of the valley and then uphill to Sanga, a place with tall statue of Lord Shiva. From here enter Banepa town and then head south east on reaching at Panauti for overnight stop in one of its nice Home-Stay huts / cottage. Panauti located in Kavre-Palanchok district within Bagmati Province of Nepal, about 32 km from the capital Kathmandu.

        The town is currently listed as a UNESCO tentative site since 1996, due to its glorious history and age-old culture makes Panauti as a heritage town / village of the country.  

        Before heading to Panauti we visit Swyambhunath Stupa, Bouddhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Kathamndu Durbar Square. All these sites are listed in a UNESCO world heritage sites in Nepal, most highlights places to visit in Kathmandu.

          With time at Panauti to browse and witness the local interesting traditional farm life and visiting old temples dates back to 16th and 17th Centuray of Malla kingdom period. After a pleasant stay at Panauti, start the morning hike to Dhulikhel heading uphill for an hour on winding trail. Walk leads to neat rows of farm terraces and within cool shade of forest reaching at Namobuddha a holy site of Buddhist religion. An interesting place for short tour of its monastery and religious sites, where supreme Buddha at time of learning cut and fed his flesh to a weak tigress with cubs saving here from hunger.

          A pleasant serene surrounding facing views of distant snow peaks, from here few hours of walks on gradual trail to Dhulikhel in the comfort of a nice hotels or resorts. A great scenic old Newari town of more than 500 years old history, located on main Arniko and B.P. Highways. The town famous for sweeping panorama of Himalayan peaks and sunrise, as well for adventure of Zip Flyer.

            Morning short walk to a nearby hill view point for stunning sunrise, after a good breakfast with snow mountain backdrop. Start the day heading towards high green hill town at Nagarkot, walk follows with long climb on winding uphill.

            On walks rewards you with glorious views of snow peaks range of Central Himalaya, within rural farm villages. A lovely scenic walk past nice tended farm fields with rows of terraces and enter cool forested areas. Then finally reaching Nagarkot for overnight stop in a lovely surroundings of forest with views of Himalayan range of mountains.

            Nagarkot stand at 2,160 m high, located eastern rim of Kathmandu valley above Bhaktapur city, famous for spectacular sunrise view. As well for wide panorama of Himalayan mountain range from Ganesh, Langtang and Jugal Himal, extends towards Everest range.

              Enjoy the morning stunning sunrise views, reflecting on wide a range of white peaks. After a glorious morning views having hearty breakfast, walk starts towards Bhaktapur.   

              A pleasant walk downhill past farm areas and villages reaching a roadside, and then route diverts into a lovely woods. Lined with tall rhododendron and pine trees then reaching a small town of Changunarayan. Where ancient and oldest temple situated on top of the quaint town, a Hindu temple of Lord Vishnu.

              After an exciting time completing the morning walk, having lunch in a nice restaurants, afternoon short drive to Bhaktapur city.

              A city full of charm takes you to middle age of medieval times a city itself a living museum.  Afternoon after checking into a lovely traditional style hotel enjoy tour of Bhaktapur city it beautiful Durbar square. The whole area steeped with historical monuments with palace courtyard of 55 windows and famous golden gate. Visit Nytapola the tallest temple of Nepal with 5 tier pagoda roofed, the main highlight and landmark of Bhaktapur city. 

                After a wonderful time hiking Panauti to Nagarkot and all the way to Bhaktapur. The next two days away and beyond Kathmandu city and the valley an interesting drive to Pokhara.                   From Pokhara, after a pleasant overnight in a nice hotel by the Phewa Lake, morning scenic drive beyond Pokhara valley. Climb leads to Tirkhedhunga, a village with beautiful waterfalls and then a long uphill on stone steps to Ulleri village. Staying overnight in a mountain lodge facing views of Annapurna peaks with tip of Machhapuchare Himal.

                    Ulleri a large village populated by Magar the main hill tribes of Far Western Himalaya. Morning walk follows on gradual up into lovely forest lined with tall rhododendron, pines and fir trees. A short day walk of few hours on winding path with a slight steep climb to Ghorepani village. Perched on a high ridge in the midst of rhododendron forest beneath famous scenic view point of Poon Hill.

                    Ghorepani a popular short trek around Nepal and Annapurna region, situated on Old Trans Himalaya Salt Trade to Tibet. The village with many good lodges offers long list of comprehensive food menu for travelers.

                      An early morning hike to Poon Hill before sunrise, from the top at 3,210 m high enjoy delightful mountain panorama. Along with stunning sunrise views over chain snow peaks of mid and Far Western Himalayas. After a refreshing morning hike down to Ghorepani for breakfast, and continue walk uphill to Deurali.

                      From the top of Deurali descend to a gorge reaching a small settlement of Bhanthati, for possible lunch break. Afternoon walk down to a stream an hour climb to overnight stop at Tadapani with grand vista of Annapurna peaks.

                        From Tadapani, a pleasant walk into beautiful woodland and downhill to Ghandruk, one of the largest village around southern Annapurna. The village populated by the Gurung people, the hill tribes of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal, follows Buddhism religion and culture. Afternoon at leisure short walk around the village and visit the Gurung museum, of great cultural heritage interest.

                          The next morning from Ghandruk head downhill to a lovely warm village at Bhirethati, located by the bank of Modi River, from here our walk completes taking a few hour drive to Pokhara. At Pokhara for last overnight around Nepal Mid-West and Annapurna Himalaya before the next adventure to Chitwan.

                            From Pokhara after a marvelous experience hiking to Poon Hill and visiting nice traditional hill villages of southern Annapurna Himalaya.

                            Morning from Pokhara an interesting drive to Nepal Mid-South around the flatland of the country known as Terai belt. On reaching at Chitwan close to national park premises, where best hotels and resorts located.

                            Afternoon, having lunch short activities of nature walks or visit the local Tharu village, the indigenous tribes of Terai area.
