Bardiya National park is the country's largest untouched wilderness located in the far southwest of Nepal’s Terai region. The only flatland of the country that runs to the west of Nepal where deep green jungle situated within a sub-tropical climate and home to various wild animals and bird life. The atmosphere around the park is pristine and tranquil where visitors can enjoy the jungle safari in a peaceful environment with various wildlife activities.

Covering an area of 968 sq.km, The park preserves and protects endangered wildlife, birds, and plants. There are estimated to be around 22 Bengal tigers, 100 one-horned rhinoceros, and more than 250 species of birds including the endangered Bengal florican and sarus crane. Gharial and marsh Muggers crocodiles and Gangetic dolphins are occasionally spotted during rafting and canoe trips along the area rivers.

Bardiya National Park can be reached by taking the shortest way with a scenic flight from Kathmandu (50 Min Flight) to reach Nepal far southwest in Nepalgunj airport which is 31 Km away from Bardia national park. Bardiya National Park (3N/4D Package) Itinerary

Day 1

Drive to Bardia National Park from Kathmandu/Pokhara/Lumbini/Nepaljung

On your arrival at Nepalgunj Airport or Ambas Stand hotel representative will receive you. You will then be transferred to our Lodge where you will be offered refreshment and be given a briefing on our lodge and its facilities. After being given your programs details you will check in, than lunch. Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and life style of the Tharus. Dinner- cultural program.

Day 2

Full day in Parak with activities

Wake up call followed by tea/coffee. Breakfast Elephant ride (for an hour), an excellent opportunity to get the lifetime experience on the elephant back and to see the wildlife of the Park. Visit to visitor Center, Crocodile Breeding Center and Tharu Cultural Museum. Lunch Jungle Walk. An excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, small mammals, birds and waits in the tower (Machan) to have the wild sightseeing, accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wild life tracker. Excellent photographic opportunities are plentiful. Dinner- cultural program.

Day 3

Full day in Parak with activities

Wake up call followed by tea/coffee. Breakfast Tiger Tracking and Bird Watching. An excellent opportunity to see a Royal Bengal tiger and a great many species of birds found in Bardia. Lunch Jeep Drive. An excellent opportunity to see wild animals and you will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Bardia their home. Dinner- cultural program.

Day 4

Drive back to Kathmandu/Pokhara/Lumbini/Nepaljung from Bardia National Park

Wake up call followed by tea/coffee. Breakfast Visit to Karnali River for Dolphin Sightseeing Lunch Departure for onward Journey.
