Trekking Guide
Milan Tamang

Hello, Namaste!

My name is Milan Tamang, and I am 25 years old. I was born in Solukhumbu, home to the world’s highest peak, Mt. Everest. Growing up at high altitudes, I naturally adapted to the mountains, making it easy for me to navigate and thrive in these environments. With my deep passion for high-altitude climbing and love for the mountains, I have become a government-authorized trekking guide in Nepal.

My career in the tourism industry began five years ago as a trekking guide. I have a strong passion for adventure and have led numerous expeditions across Nepal’s rugged terrain. I hold a certified Trekking Guide License and am fluent in English and Hindi. I also have a deep love for nature and enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, sharing with them the breathtaking beauty of Nepal.

My trekking experience includes guiding in the Annapurna, Everest, Manaslu, Makalu, and Mardi Himal regions, as well as many other trekking trails across Nepal. Trekking is not just a job for me—it brings me immense joy and a sense of achievement, especially when I see the satisfaction of the travelers I guide.

As a trekking guide, I have learned that it is not just about helping others fulfill their dream of reaching their destination; it also requires making crucial decisions along the way. When travelers face challenges such as altitude sickness, only an experienced guide can recognize the symptoms immediately and take the necessary steps to ensure their safety and well-being.

I warmly welcome every traveler to Nepal to experience our mountain culture. I encourage them to explore as much as they can and fall in love with the mountains and natural beauty of Nepal. I am eager to share my passion with the rest of the world.
