Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu, 1,350m/4,429ft
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, a Nepal Trekking Planner Nepal representative will be waiting in the arrival section. The representative will be waiting for you with a company placard, which will ease identification. Upon meeting, the representative will escort you to the vehicle carrying you to the hotel. Afterward, the official will transfer your bags to the car and officially welcome you to Nepal. With a quick photography session, you will drive towards your hotel. Upon reaching the hotel, the representative will help you check in and give you the room keys. Afterwards, you can rest for a while. Later in the afternoon, you will meet the company owner and have a meeting. In the meeting, you will be given details about how the tour will commence. All your questions and doubts will be answered during the trip.
Later, you will be escorted to a welcome dinner in an authentic Nepalese restaurant that serves Nepalese cuisine. You can enjoy your dinner with Nepalese cultural dances and music. Today, you might have to walk early, as this is a major day you will commence your Everest helicopter tour. So, after you wake up, refresh and have breakfast. If time doesn’t work, you can always have a packed breakfast. Afterwards, a representative from Trekking Planner Nepal Pvt. Ltd will pick you up from the hotel lobby. Then, you will drive towards Saga, Bhaktapur, for a helicopter flight to Lukla. The flight will take approximately one hour to reach Lukla, the gateway to the Khumbu region. Upon reaching Lukla, the helicopter will take some time to refuel, and until then, you will have a tea break and a brief time for exploration.
After refueling, your helicopter tour in the Everest region finally commences. So, prepare accordingly and board the helicopter. After quality time in Syangboche, you will take a hike to Khumjung village which takes about one to one and a half hours from the Hotel Everest View. Reaching Khumjung village allows you to explore the traditional Sherpa village. You can also visit the Khumjung monastery and pay for offerings there. Day 4: Return to Kathmandu
Today, after you refresh, you will leave the Khumbu region and head back to Kathmandu. According to the flight schedule, you can have breakfast. If time is limited, you can take a packed breakfast from the hotel. After breakfast, a helicopter will pick you up at the Everest Hotel helipad and take you back to Kathmandu. There is a probability of landing at Lukla for refueling; if not, you will reach Kathmandu after an hour.
Upon reaching Kathmandu, a representative from Trekking Planner Nepal will pick you up from the helicopter landing spot. After meeting the representative, you will be escorted to your hotel situated in and around Thamel. You will then refresh in the hotel and begin your sightseeing tour of Kathmandu.
