Trek of a lifetime!
"Our group of four had a great time on our Everest Base Camp Trek through Trekking Planner. Despite some unexpected bad weather at the start of our trip, Dipak's team was constantly adapting to find new solutions for us to make sure we still made it to base camp before our flights home. Once we did make it to the beginning of the trek in Lukla, we really appreciated the flexiblity that our guide Nirmal had in how to tailor the trek to our shorter timeframe. I wouldn't say doing a 12-day trek in 9 days was easy, but the team from Trekking Planner did everything in their power to make it as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Great accomodations and food along the entire way and a stellar guide and team of porters, I'd highly recommend this trekking company."
Paras PCanadaOct 06, 2017Excellent Services Provided With Competivie Price and Well Taken Care
My friends and I have no regret engaging Dipak and his company for our recent Nepal EBC trip in April / May 2017 as his services are good from the start of the first email till the end of our trip as well as his price for the trip, very competitive price but still with excellent professional services provided. Very patient with us and fast with his email replies even though we are asking lots of questions during the emails exchange. Also give us suggestions in order to optimise the number of days for the whole trip.
During the trip, we are well taken care of, ensuring that we are staying well in the accommodation with ample food. He also made the efforts to ensure that my friends are well taken care in the hospital and hotels after they are evacuated back to Kathmandu via helicopter due to sickness. For those still hesitating which travel company to engage for your Nepal trip due to so many other companies are offering competitive prices and services, rest assured that you will be taken good care by Dipak throughout your trip.

These guys are the best and most thoughtful guides in Nepal. They can organise all sorts of trips and can look after international travel as well. Their careful, personally tailored trips are capably organised and very well provisioned. Our group loved every minute of our trek in this incomparable region. Next trip will be to Everest base camp and we will be going with Deepak and Narayan.
Keith BAustraliaAug 01, 201721 Days of Trekking in the Sagarmatha & Annapurna Regions
I have been visiting Nepal in April 2017 with two friends. We had an arrangement with Trekking Planner for a trek to Gokyo in the Everest region. After a difficult journey of getting into Nepal – delayed flights, booking new ones and getting my baggage delayed – I was relieved to be greeted by Dipak at the airport in Kathmandu. The next day I met out guide, Khilna, which took me around Thamel. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive my backpack in time for the planned trek. Dipak provided me with some gear and Khilna helped me getting the basic clothes needed for the journey. Days later when the airline finally found my bag, Dipak went to the airport to pick it up because they wouldn’t deliver it. And so I must say – Dipak and Khilna proved very helpful in making this trip enjoyable despite a painful start.
Apart from some small issues – an itinerary change due to a snowstorm and some altitude sickness – our trek went great. The Gokyo Lakes route is very charming on its own and is much less busy than EBC, thus making it a good option to escape the crowds. I still had some extra time in Nepal after my friends left for India, so I went for a second trek in the Annapurna region. Having had a great experience with Trekking Planner, I booked again through the agency – then again, its been another great trek.
Dealing with an agency means you don’t have to worry about all the little things. That includes all the paperwork required for park permits, bookings for transportation, arrangements for accommodation and food at lodges, etc. Dipak delivered even more than this by offering gear lending, airport pickups and drop-offs, welcome / farewell dinners, and in my case, some extra time dealing with my delayed baggage, which I’m much grateful for.
I thus highly recommend Nepal Trekking Planner, Dipak and his team as well as our guide Khilna for their excellent and professional work!
Thank you, namaste, and greetings from Canada!

I came across trekking planner whilst looking for a new adventure and it was the best thing that could have happened. prior to our arrival in Nepal all correspondence with Trekking planner owner Dipak was prompt and helpful, Dipak was always on hand to manage our plans and we changed plans several times without any problems. Dipak collected us from the airport and ensured we settled into our hotel. He arranged for extra excursions an Everest flight and a stay in the national park (Chitwan). we had a lovely welcome meal and were given all the information for our planned trek.
Throughout the trek we felt safe and cared for by both our guide(Krishna) and porters. During the trek we had to change our plans (due to illness) this was no problem for our guide and he was fully supportive throughout the trek ensure we were happy and well. He spent time explaining our daily itinerary and ensured we had good rooms and plenty to eat during our trek. He was always happy to answer questions and spent time with us offering local information, socialising and playing cards. By the end of our 10 days we had become a family.
The service from trekking planner didn't end there Dipak checked on us during our stay at the national park, met us back in Kathmandu, ensured we were all happy and had enjoyed our trip, arranged transport to the airport and ensured we arrived home safely
the overall service from trekking planner, Dipak, Krishna and our porters was second to none, and I cant recommend Dipak and his company enough I would not hesitate to use his service again in the future.

I recently completed the Everest High Pass Trek with Nepal Trekking Planners and it could not have been a more perfect experience. I highly recommend this company and they catered to every need.
First of the owner Dipak met me at the airport and brought me to my hotel. He even walked me up to the room to make sure it was okay. He was there the next day to introduce me to my guide for the Kathmandu city tour and then walked me to the welcome dinner. He was also there to take me to the airport, and meet me on the way back after finishing the trek. He explained that his priority is the service to his clients rather than having large numbers, and this was evident. He helped me book tickets to my next destination, and even took me to the right trekking stores in Kathmandu to make sure I had everything I needed. Truly an incredible guy.
As far as the trek I was a bit hesitant at first to do it alone (had a great guide, Khila and amazing porter Hare). For me it was the best decision that ever happened because I got to go my pace which ended up being quite quick. I watched as other large companies treated their groups almost like cattle and people had to wait in the cold for 30-45 minutes for everyone to catch up. The great thing about Trekking Planners is they cater the trek to any group size and are very flexible. During the trek I fell in love with Ama Dablam mountain, and my guide Khila allowed us to change the schedule so we could go to basecamp. Also along the way we were able to move around days and for me combine some things to make the days a bit longer since I completed things so quickly.
The ability of a company to cater to their clients and be so flexible is SO IMPORTANT on a trek. Everyone has a different trekking style and Trekking Planners teaches their guides to adjust the trek to 100% satisfy the clients. I had several people along the way say they wish they had known about Trekking Planners and I think there is no better sign than that. Accommodation and meals were always provided for in a timely fashion on the trek and it worked seamlessly.
The actual high pass trek is so incredible it is hard to describe without experiencing it yourself. The high passes can be challenging, but more rewarding for me than Everest Base Camp or any other part. The views are phenomenal for anyone up for a bit of adventure this is the trek for you. It allows you to get away from the crowds for a while, and to feel the beauty of the Himalayas.
nsrourUnited StatesApr 01, 2017Very good trekking
Overall, we had a very nice trek to Khopra Ridge (7 days) with trekking planner. The office organized all the logisitcs well and the itinerary was beautiful. The price was also fair.
Nevertheless, a few things keeps us from giving 5 stars. The english and communication skills of our guide/porter were not so great although they were very nice. We had trouble getting information sometimes and it was irritating to repeat the same questions over and over (where are we going? How long is it to the next village? Should we bring more water? Save our energy?). A guide should be proactive with its guests...and ideally know their first names by day 6.
AnthoCtotheLCanadaApr 01, 2017Three Passes Trek in Everest Region
It was an unforgettable trek in the Everest Region.
Our trekking guide (Narayan) was very knowledgeable about the mountains and spoke fluent English. We spent great time with him discussing our plans for next days and playing cards in the teahouses. In every location we had a room booked and whenever possible it was one of the best rooms available (eg. with private toilet).
We had as well a great porter Tenjin who was always smiling and ready to help.
We highly recommend the trek and Trekking Planner's services.
