I did the Mera peak trekking 6,476 m with my guide Gyeljen Sherpa. A very friendly and professional guide that knows everything about the mountains. When we reached Mera high camp 5,800 m I was very sick and had to stay for an extra night, as we were ready to go back down, Gyeljen asked me if I was feeling any better and wanted to try to reach the top, I said ok and we tried but shortly after it started to snow very heavily and we had very poor visibility, we reached 6,260 m and decided to go back down because Gyeljen considered it to be very risky and put safety first!!! Never the less I was happy that he pushed me over my limits. Highly reccomend Gyeljen Sherpa as a guide for his professionalism and dedication to the customer.

Professional guide!!!
I did the Mera peak 6,476 m trek with my guide Gyeljen Sherpa, he assisted me in all ways possible! Gyeljen is an expert on those mountains and was very friendly and helpful. Even if I didn't reach the summit because I got sick, Gyeljen did his best and got me to 6,260 m after which we had to descend due to heavy snow falling and low visibility. I would reccomend Gyeljen Sherpa anytime for his professionalism and dedication to the customer.

Family Everest trek
The trek was an amazing experience for our family. The scenery was breathtaking! Trekking planner were very organized and catered to every detail. What made the trip was our fantastic guide Nirmal, who ensured that we had the best experience, even from selecting the warmest/ best views in rooms in the tea houses! Nirmal was very friendly, knowledgeable, fun and was great with our 3 boys (10,12,14). Traveling with 3 kids at altitude, we felt very safe with Nirmal and the two amazing porters. We would definitely recommend Trekking planner and would use the company again in the future.

Nicely arranged trip. Caring and helpful
The company picked me up at the airport even I arrived at late night. They arranged everything very well. Special thanks to my trekking guide FT and porter Dawa. They took very good care of me during the trek. FT arranged the best room for me. Also, he was very caring and encouraging . He did a lot of things that he didn’t have to do for me. I am very grateful to have him as my guide. Also thank Dawa for carrying my heavy bag. The trek would not be so smooth without them. Highly recommend them.

Trekking Planner Nepal the best trekking company in Nepal.
Trekking Planner Nepal is the best trekking company in Nepal. I went on a 13-day Everest base camp trek with trekking planner Nepal on September 2023. The guide, Mr Gyaljen Sherpa, was very professional and experienced. He knew everything about the Everest region and he also knew people from the community. He really helped me check out one of my bucket lists despite the weather conditions. He managed with all his might good accommodation and made sure all my needs were taken care of. Mr Dipak, the owner, was very punctual with his reply. He never missed a mark, had amazing service, was very professional, and was up to date with any information asked. I will soon visit again, and if I do, no doubt I am going with Trekking Planner. Really had an amazing experience. Gyaljen and Mr Dipak, you guys are truly the Best. Trekking Planner Nepal is the best.

Annapurna Basecamp with friendly guide
Amazing trek to Annapurna Base camp with Poon Hill. As a solo woman traveler I always felt safe and cared for. Guide Binod was super friendly and knowledgeable about Nepal’s culture/history, and a great companion during the trek.

Efti (FT) Sherpa - the guide - is reason enough to rate this company above all others
We trekked from Lukla to Everest Base Camp in mid-October 2023. Efti (FT) Sherpa guided us the entire way. We were not prepared for the difficulty of the trek, particularly the ascent from the Hillary Bridge to Namche Bazaar and the physical consequences of trekking at an altitude above 4000m.
We would not have made it without FT Sherpa.
FT was professional, courteous, pleasant, and extremely patient.
As to our daily rest in each town or village, FT seemed to have relationships with every local vendor and resident. This was incredibly beneficial to us, because it resulted in preferential treatment in relation to anything we needed. Every evening, when we arrived at our accommodation (be it a teahouse or local hostel) FT made special arrangements for our comfort (such as hot showers and coffee).
It was the little things FT did that made all the difference: he made sure that the table closest to the fire was reserved for us; he made special arrangements with the venue owners to ensure we received meals and services tailored to our needs or preferences; he purchased supplies on our behalf when we rested to spare us the effort. FT seemed incapable of resting until any issue we had was resolved. On one occasion, FT went out on our behalf to purchase medicine, sparing us the need to attend with a doctor or chemist. On another, when we had issues obtaining internet access, FT went off on his own accord and returned an hour later with a solution.
As to the trek itself, FT (who was intimidatingly unaffected by the altitude or effort) was wonderfully patient with us. Notwithstanding the inferiority one might be inclined to feel at the end of a climb (doubled over gasping for air while FT stood by breathing calmly through his nose), FT somehow managed to ensure we never felt slow or rushed. Toward the end of trek, when things became quite difficult, FT insisted on carrying the day pack of one of the members of our group (in addition to his own).
Our health was always his first priority; our comfort was his second priority; his own comfort did not seem to register.
FT even made time to make the trek (where possible) fun, like playing billiards with us. We had a lot of laughs and good times with FT, even in really difficult circumstances.
My view is that the best way to assess any review of a service provider is to ask whether the customer would use that provider again. I would engage FT Sherpa for the Everest Base Camp Trek again without a moment’s hesitation. He exceeded every possible expectation, and did so while being a charming, enthusiastic, and highly knowledgeable trekking companion.
