Second Trek, Same Quality of Service
"I came to the Everest Base Camp trek last year with my friends and the personal service that I received from Dipak was outstanding.
When another one of my friends asked me to go with him to Nepal to do EBC, there was only ever going to be one company I was going with, Nepal Trekking Planner.
Again Dipak, organised everything so that we would not have to worry and made sure we were looked after from the moment we landed at Kathmandu to when we left.
The journey was not easy but Suman our guide looked after us on the mountain as we walked up and down mountains, crossing suspension bridges, meeting the local Nepalese people and trying to avoid mules and yaks on the path but the views and the paths we took made it worthwhile, an experience many only dream only off.
We did not have to worry about paying for lodges, food, airfare, permit fees on the trek as it was all taken care of in the package.
Whilst I was in Kathmandu I decided I wanted to visit another part of Nepal and Dipak listened to my requirements and within hours organised a flight and transport for the next day… that is the type of outstanding service that you get when you go with this company.
I would highly recommend Trekking Planning not only for the Everest Base Camp Trek but for any other walks, visits, that you may want to do whilst you are in Nepal.
Thank you, Dipak, for looking after us, you are a genuine kind person who puts his customers first and nothing is too much trouble as long as the customer is happy."

Just finished the EBC trip with Trekking Planner. Brilliant service from Prajol in Kathmandu who covered my every need with cheerfulness. My guide on the trek, Sudip, was excellent throughout ensuring I made it to Kala Pattar despite a severe headache. He was great fun and was ably supported by Damact (?) as my porter. All in all I really aprecated the service from Dipak and his team and recommend them wholeheartedly.

Had the best experience trekking in the Himalayas with trekking planner. Our guide was Nirmal, he was always positive and encouraging. He was definitely one of the reasons we made it to base camp and back. Our porter was Roshan, he is kind and incredibly hard working. Trekking at high altitudes is extremely challenging, we would not have been able to complete this trek without the help and encouragement from our trekking planner team. This was the trip of a life time! If I ever return to the Himalayas to complete another trek, I will definitely request Nirmal and Roshan to be on my trekking team again. Could not have done it without them!

"I booked a 13 day Everest Base Camp trek online after finding that Trekking Planner were the only company offering dates that matched my leave. Prior to booking, Dipak answered all my questions efficiently via email. He didn’t ask me for a deposit when I booked, which I initially thought was unusual but I now see is just another example of the high standard of service offered.
The whole trek was very well organised from start to finish. I was particularly impressed with my guide, Sudip, and porter, Gelu. They were very friendly and put my safety and enjoyment of the trek first at all times. Sudip regularly checked my oxygen levels and advised me what was safe to eat and drink so I didn’t get sick at any point. He was also very knowledgeable regarding the culture and history of the national park, and just good fun to spend time with. He was always on the lookout for a good photo opportunity and I’ve got a memory card fun of silly (and some sensible) photos to show friends and family. There were times when we needed a change of plan, such as my flight from Lukla to Kathmandu being delayed for weather, and Sudip knew exactly what to do and supported my throughout.
The trek itself is challenging but well worth it. The altitude is not to be underestimated, and the terrain is very challenging. It is not a gradual climb on the way up, and a steady descent on the way down. There are points where you need to descend to the bottom of a valley to cross a river, then climb back up again. So there are steep climbs going both ways! However, the views of Everest are amazing and you’ll get a really sense of achievement from reaching Base Camp.
I was also surprised how much is included in this package, compared to what other companies are offering. You get all airport transfers, full board while trekking (you pick one menu option and one tea/coffee per meal off the menu at each teahouse), and a welcome dinner. And there is no deposit and I believe you can cancel up to 24 hours before if required. Overall this is excellent value for money."
AlanUnited KingdomNov 10, 2019Suraj and Anish were the best guide and porter!
I recently completed a trek to Everest Base camp with Trekking planner. Was supposed to do the high passes but fell ill with slight altitude sickness but I still managed to get to Gokyo though to see the lakes. Dipak did a great job organising everything. My guide Suraj and porter Anish were great. They took care of me when I wasn't well and adjusted the itinerary accordingly. Had a great experience! The mountains and the views are truly magical. Highly recommend booking a tour/trek with Dipak and his team

"13 days on the trail with Gyeljan , our guide and Pradip and Gumbo (porters). Despite lousy weather it was a great adventure. Made it to 6100m only to be turned back by thigh deep snow. Thankyou to our excellent support team, lots of laughs and good fun along the way. To Dipak and everyone at Nepal Trekking Planner thankyou for your excellent care and attention to detail. I recommend these guys 100%"
Tony BAustraliaOct 10, 2019Extra good care from Nirmal and Roshan.
"I had no idea how hard this trek would be for me mentally and emotionally. I am physically fit from the cascade mountains, but living out of a bag in group life, crowded trails and teahouses with folks one doesn't know is hard for an introvert used to lots of alone time. Our guides, Nirmal and Roshan, made sure I was OK. Nirmal had lots of jokes, games and cultural sayings to keep our group going. He has endless enthusiasm, energy and an incredibly patient and kind spirit. When we didn't want to eat he made sure we ate anyway. When we wanted to cry he made us laugh. I had to descend at from Loboche due to AMS and Nirmal made sure Roshan took me to a quiet lodge. These guides are top-notch, the best you will find in Nepal, or perhaps anywhere in the world. I am indebted to our porters as well for their hard work. Please consider Trekking planner and Nirmal in particular if you want to see Nepal on foot."
